Rebel Music drop VA ‘Rebel Alliance Vol. 2’

The Rebels are back with an 8 track double EP. Celebrating the labels 20th release and showcasing the diverse sound we’ve come to expect from the crew.

‘Rebel Alliance Vol. 2’ kicks off with the monstrous ‘Deliverance’ from Sam Harris, N-Mon1c and Altex. A real step into the future, this heavyweight track is the perfect opener. It really encapsulates the labels diversity with its forward thinking arrangement.

Next up, tribal drums and deep subs follow from the killer combo of Creatures and Taelimb on ‘Clouded’.

Our premiere comes from Wreckless as he drops ‘Hot Desk’. A stripped back stepper with supersonic atmospheres.

Essex based Skuff returns to the label with silky smooth ‘Time Out’.

Screamarts debuts on the label with the epic ‘Sunbath’, a euphoric feel good tune with bags of character.

Following on from his ‘What’s Real’ EP, Guernsey badman Inner Terrain is back with ‘Battle March’. This one’s a halftime workout with big beats and quality edits, one for the head strong.

Kolectiv contribute ‘The Facts’ which brings the North London duos flavour back to the fold. Powerful beats and some proper funk.

Closing the EP is Whychek‘s ‘Floating’ which features Josie Waller. This is a beautifully arranged number already being championed by the likes of DJ Marky and a host of other names.

Every other Monday night at The Cause in Tottenham aka Costa Del Tottenham, Rebel Music host a free night of Drum & Bass. The lineup each time is switched up and features their residents and guests and some secret surprise guests that will make you wish you’d attended.

Head honcho of Rebel Music Ben Green aka OB1 had this to say about the event series:

“Monday nights are not about money or anything other than keeping things going and giving the DJs an opportunity where they can come and play the music they want. More importantly, it’s to give people a space to go out and express themselves in the way that they like and shake off all this horrible stuff we’re all going through right now. At least they can come out and get some fresh beats. They can see a couple of friends in a socially distanced and respectable way, while they hear some tunes at a good volume and get some sub-bass!”

Rebel Music drop the second part of the their ‘Rebel Alliance’ series on 26th October, make sure you grab it from here
