Koax drops ‘Hoodwink’ EP on Impact Music

For their 41st chapter Impact Music are bringing us a relative newcomer who completely surprised them with some really deep and heavy rollers! They welcome Koax into the family with his ‘Hoodwink’ EP!

Koax isn’t actually a very well known name in the Drum & Bass scene, yet, but his skills and musical output will allow him to climb through the ranks of the scene quickly.

Hailing from Bristol UK, Koax, aka Chris Rudge has had previous releases spanned across several labels, gaining support from the likes of Noisia, Xtrah, Black Sun Empire, Amoss, Arkaik, Cruk and State of Mind.

A new addition to the Impact Music imprint, Koax comes with four mind-blowing tunes with the goal to reinforce the innovative release campaign managed by the label. The four tracks on offer here are a solid showcase of unique soundscapes, expertly engineered and packed with moody atmospherics, crunching bass growls, vocals and attacking drums.

Koax’s sound perfectly results in some top-notch dark and steppy rollers, the likes of which you might never have heard before.
