Thread joins Impact Music with ‘Eyes On You/By Your Side’

Dan Hancox aka Thread has been a busy man throughout the whole of last year. There’s been so much quality music from him on offerings on labels such as Onyx, DLT9, Four Corners and Skankandbass! Now he joins the ranks at Impact Music with ‘Eyes On You/By Your Side’.

Thread is a Bristol-based producer who is rapidly establishing himself as a rising talent in Drum & Bass. From his ability to work in various corners of the Drum & Bass sound, to his incredibly clean mix downs, there are many reasons to be excited about his future.

He rounds off the first 3rd of this year with another tasty treat for the Impact Music catalogue. First up is ‘Eyes On You’ which has been doing the rounds but there is no mistaking that sweeping penetrating bass groove that remains the big attraction on this. Thread has gone in and put the final magic touches to the mix down with added effects and sci fi soundscapes.

On the flip is our premiere ‘By Your Side’! This one jabs and probes with a relentless energy that pulsates throughout the track. It’s a deep techy rollout that sits tidy in the mix and will add another dimension if you drop it in your set and will keep the people skanking and the heads checking.
