Koax drops new EP on Modular Carnage
Hailing from Bristol UK, Koax, aka Chris Rudge, is a rising name in drum and bass. With his releases spanning the past two years, Koax, is an emerging artist with a signature sound.
As another representative of the talent pool of Bristol, his previous releases have spanned several labels, gaining support from the likes of Noisia, Xtrah, Black Sun Empire, Amoss, Arkaik, Cruk and State of Mind.
Koax has gained first place in a production competition, turning Xtrahs attention to him and his sound. His debut EP was released on Xtrah‘s imprint Cyberfunk in December 2019. ‘At Odds’ EP was well received by many of the pioneers of the scene, inspiring him to push the boundaries even further.
His deep heavyweight bass lines and techy drums are immersive – expect a variety of styles from neuro to minimal and that’s exactly what he brings to his release ‘Corrode’ EP on Modular Carnage. Each track showcasing his versatility and production prowess.
