We are delighted to say Benga is back!

And back in a big way, he’s just dropped a new EP aciiiiiiiid monster in the titled ‘Future Funk’. After recently opening up about his reasons for quitting his production and DJ career last year this is really great return to form from one of the UK’s best-loved electronic artists who has been making music for over 15 years, To be released on 26th February 2016 via his own imprint, the 3-track EP heralds a new chapter for the 29 year-old and finds him on better form than ever, ready to get back to what he does best. ‘Make Moves’, premiered by Annie Mac on her BBC Radio 1 show on Friday night, is the first taste of the new EP, a muscular acid-flavoured exercise in skittering synths and icy vocals. The pneumatic title track and aptly named ‘Power’ complete the EP.

Speaking about the new release, Benga commented, It’s been two years and I have grown a lot, and I now know what’s important: music. I’m back and I think my sound is the most ‘me’ it’s been since Diary of an Afro Warrior and I’m super excited to play it and reconnect with all of the people who have supported me. Let’s have a good year!”

We love this track, its absolute fire and we want you to stop what you are doing right and get it up loud!  Go!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
