Black Coffee to Play Open-Air Show at Budapest’s Buda Castle

Grammy Award–winning Black Coffee will headline an exclusive 2,000-capacity open-air show at Budapest’s UNESCO-listed Buda Castle on 14th August 2026, a rare chance to see one of the world’s leading electronic artists in an intimate, historic setting.

Presented by BSH Events in partnership with local promoter City Takeover, the show marks BSH’s Hungarian debut and continues the Croatian promoter’s reputation for staging unforgettable electronic music experiences in culturally significant locations. With a capacity capped at just 2,000, the event promises the kind of close, immersive atmosphere rarely associated with an artist of Black Coffee’s global stature.

Black Coffee is a global force in Afro house, having defined the sound through his acclaimed productions, headline festival sets and celebrated Ibiza residencies. Over the past decade, he has become one of dance music’s most influential figures, earning a Grammy Award and building a worldwide following that spans continents. His long-standing partnership with BSH has already produced several standout events, and this summer adds another with his return to Budapest, his first performance in the city in 12 years, following his appearance at the BSH Amphitheatre in Pula, Croatia, just two weeks earlier.

Set atop Castle Hill overlooking the Danube, Buda Castle has dominated Budapest’s skyline since the 13th century. Today, its UNESCO-listed Baroque palace offers one of Europe’s most spectacular settings for cultural events, and its dramatic architecture, panoramic river views and unique sense of history will provide an unforgettable backdrop for one of the summer’s most anticipated electronic music nights.
