Husky gets straight to work with ‘Get Up On This’

Share

Husky returns with ‘Get Up On This’, a new club-focused cut built for peak-time floors, coming on Bobbin’ Head Music.

Landing with a driving 128 BPM pulse, Husky’s latest release pairs chunky drums with a rolling bassline, bright house grooves and a vocal hook that gets straight to the point. It is clean, direct and made for those moments when the room is already moving and the DJ needs something that keeps the pressure on.

The release also comes backed with a ‘Deepah’ House version, which pulls things into a smoother late-night pocket. The energy stays intact, but the edges soften, making it a strong option for deeper rooms, longer sets and those after-hours stretches where groove matters more than impact.

The Sydney-based DJ and producer has spent years shaping a sound that moves between soulful house, disco and deeper club territory. Alongside running Random Soul Recordings and Bobbin’ Head Music, Husky has released on labels including Fool’s Paradise, Groove Culture, Salted Music, Purple Music, Guesthouse and Tinted Records.

His 2024 single ‘Get Down’ also gave him his first ARIA number one, adding another marker to a career that has taken him from Sydney clubs to Ibiza, London, Amsterdam, Miami and beyond.

Today, we premiere Husky’s ‘Get Up On This’ on Data Transmission.
