AMOK delivers a standout Mallorcan clubbing experience with Denis Sulta, Priku and Tribu Sunset

On Mallorca’s increasingly competitive electronic music circuit, AMØK is rapidly establishing itself as a venue with a clear identity. A recent weekend featuring Denis Sulta, Priku and the club’s signature Tribu Sunset concept demonstrated exactly why it has become one of the island’s most talked-about destinations.
The venue reached full stride when Denis Sulta dropped the rolling, organ-laced groove of Daniel Dash’s ‘Spirit of House.’ The reaction from the dancefloor was immediate and emphatic, a moment that encapsulated both the energy in the room and the confidence of a venue that knows precisely what it wants to be. Beneath warm Mallorcan skies, with a powerful yet finely tuned sound system carrying across the dancefloor, AMØK delivered an experience that felt both polished and authentic.
Sulta opened proceedings with the infectious energy that has made him one of house music’s most celebrated selectors. Blending classic cuts with contemporary sounds, he moved through the gears effortlessly, demonstrating impeccable technical control from the outset. Roland Clark’s unmistakable vocal on Mobin Master’s ‘Don’t Forget‘ helped lock the crowd into the groove early, setting the tone for a set that built steadily and authoritatively throughout.
Priku followed with a markedly different approach. Where Sulta’s selections were expansive and uplifting, the Romanian DJ steered the room into deeper, more hypnotic territory. Sambo’s ‘Afterglow‘ drifted through the space with an almost weightless quality before Reboot’s ‘Lotus‘ tightened the atmosphere and drew the dancefloor further inward. Together, the programming felt thoughtfully curated, with each artist complementing the other rather than competing for attention.
The venue itself deserves particular mention. AMØK manages the difficult balance of feeling substantial without becoming overwhelming. Large enough to deliver genuine scale yet thoughtfully designed enough to keep the focus firmly on the music, the layout prioritises the experience of the dancer. There is space to move, breathe and settle into the music without the congestion that often affects similarly sized venues.
Its production values are equally impressive. More than 140 moving lights, CO₂ cannons, Megatron effects and immersive 360-degree visuals create a striking visual environment. Crucially, however, these elements never overshadow the music. Instead, they enhance it, supporting rather than dominating the experience. Most importantly, the sound quality remains consistently strong throughout the venue, a detail that ultimately matters more than any lighting rig or special effect.

Elsewhere during the weekend, AMØK’s Tribu Sunset & Night party offered a distinctly different perspective on the venue’s programming. The Sunday concept begins outdoors as the sun sets over Mallorca before transitioning indoors around midnight. As the evening progresses, so too does the soundtrack, evolving naturally from laid-back daytime selections into more driving club-focused sounds. Throughout, Spanish and Latin electronic influences remain at the heart of the musical direction.
The setting itself plays a significant role in the experience. As the sky shifts through shades of red, orange and gold, the outdoor terrace becomes one of the island’s most atmospheric dancefloors, offering visitors the opportunity to experience AMØK across both day and night in a single session.

Perhaps most impressive across both events was the crowd. International yet united by a shared appreciation for electronic music, the audience remained engaged from start to finish. There was a palpable sense that people had come for the music first and everything else second.
In an era when many clubs compete through spectacle alone, AMØK succeeds by focusing on fundamentals: thoughtful programming, high-quality sound, strong production and an audience-centred design. On the evidence of this weekend, it is not only one of Mallorca’s standout venues but one that deserves a place firmly on the radar of travelling electronic music fans.
