Renegade Riddims: Lyndon Jarr

Lyndon Jarr is a native Australian and has spent the past 10 years in Asia. He is the manager of Unchained Recordings, which he co-founded with Daniel Power, a label that flies the bass music flag on the other side of the continent. Jarr is a veteran DJ and producer who creates bass music and plays everything from Drum & Bass to Halftime and from Dubstep to Broken Techno. He also has a live / AV project going on which focuses on Atmospheric, Noise and Ambient as well as Jungle / Amen finger drumming. Is there anything this guy can’t do?

Previous releases have been put out on SmallPrint Recordings, The Dreamers Recordings, 140 Ninja, Soul Deep Recordings, Unchained Recordings, Samsara Beats and Deep Heads UK.

Lyndon Jarr has graced us with a wikkid mix which is plentiful in dubs and has a cross-section of vibes from deep atmospheric to halftime and jungle. His latest collaborative EP with Airstrike on The Dreamers Recordings is all about early rave and if you haven’t heard it yet, you’re in for a right treat! However, expect some deep 160 and Drum & Bass forthcoming on their exciting new imprint Static & Strange. Definitely a label to get your eyes and ears on!
