The next instalment for Hardpoint Recordings comes from label head honcho Martyn Nytram with his long-awaited album ‘Inner Demons’. The album includes collaborations with the likes of Daniela ‘D-Vox’ Rhodes on harmonies for the album title track. On the beats side it features – Jaybee on ‘Where’s The Smoke’, Future Shock on ‘Deserted’ and Dark Ops on ‘Horrible Things’ while Raphael lays down some hard lyrics on the LP’s finale track ‘Preach’.
The ‘Inner Demons’ LP features a bit of a Half time/Hip Hop flex to give you an idea on how this project delivers a lot of diversity with Martyn Nytram’s usual hard jungle styles, old and new, as well as plenty of upfront new, dance floor Drum & Bass
Martyn Nytram began his music career way back in 2001 having held down a residency at the Circus Tavern nightclub in Essex, UK, where he DJ’s every Friday night.
From there Martyn Nytram has played in other places abroad such as Sibenik (Croatia), Barcelona (Spain) but mostly in Amsterdam (Netherlands) throughout most of the noughties in clubs such as the now defunct Sugar Factory and Paradiso as well as Cheeky Monday‘s at the Winston. He’s also appeared on many radio stations, to mention a few – Life FM, Dose Radio, Cyndicut, Rough Tempo and most recently Kool London.
Today we premiere Martyn Nytram’s collab with Dark Ops ‘Horrible Things’ which you can check out below. The ‘Inner Demons’ LP drops this Friday 11th March, make sure you grab a copy for your collection from here!
