Erritate joins Hardpoint Recordings with ‘Choitte’

Erritate joins Martyn Nytram’s Hardpoint Recordings with a double hitter ‘Choitte / Recluse’ which is due for release on 12th February.

Erritate aka Jack Dann is a DJ/Producer based in Kent, UK and one of the head honchos at Monk Audio. Like most Drum & Bass heads, he got his introduction to the genre when he was at school. He was always eager to be the first to hear and play new music to his mates through phone speakers. Later on, this lead to his love for DJ’ing and dubplate culture. Wanting to always have the “First play” Erritate quickly realised that he would have to produce his own music and with that to match the diversity of his sets a melting pot of Jump up, Breakbeat, Jungle, Liquid & Dark rollers were born.

Martyn Nytram launched Hardpoint Recordings in March 2018 and has been providing us with quality Drum & Bass/Jungle music ever since. Hardpoint release music right across the board from deep, liquid, tech and dance floor vibes and beyond.

Moody and broody atmospherics garnish this unique release. Erritate brings styles out of the box but still with that familiar vibe. He drops two tracks ‘Choitte’ and ‘Recluse’ on Hardpoint, neither of which would be out of place on a Headz roster yet Hardpoint Recordings managed to snap up this little blinder. They are perfect for a 3 o’clock in the morning, heads down skank out. Watch out for this guy he’s doing bits and has plenty more fire up his sleeve for later in the year.

Today we premiere ‘Choitte’ which is sublime! I know I keep saying it, but it’s this sort of track that makes you miss going out at night and coming home some time the next day. Erritate constantly ups his game with each release. After working closely with him and Monk Audio for the last couple of years, I’ve learnt just how hard Erritate works on both his own music and releases on the label. I’m really hoping for big things for him!
