Resident Advisor (RA) have unveiled a cool new electronic music jobs board, Doors Open.

The self-service platform allows job seekers to sign up for alerts based on specific companies or categories as well as browse available jobs across the industry. For those that have tried, finding a job in the music industry can be a bit of minefield and this site aims to help you make your passion into their profession – which we absolutely love!

Speaking about the launch, RA cofounder Nick Sabine says: “The world of electronic music is shaped not only by artists and fans but also by thousands of independent businesses, from clubs to booking agents to publishers and promoters. Many are founded by passionate people with the goal of making a meaningful contribution to electronic music. It is the network of these companies on which the vitality of our scene depends. Doors Open is a place for people to connect with companies and projects they believe in, and for independent music companies to find the staff they need.”

Doors Open launches with jobs from Beatport, Boiler Room, Discogs, Point Blank Music School, !K7 records, Krankbrother, Mirage, Hyte/99 Ghosts, LWE, fabric and Ninja Tune Records to name but a few.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
