DJ Spinn Shares Video to ‘The Future Is Now’

Another track from DJ Spinn‘s forthcoming solo EP for Hyperdub, Off The Loud, has been made available to stream via YouTube.

‘The Future Is Now’ present simple elements used to devastating effect by the Teklife man. Driven by a manic, squelchy synth-line and contrastingly slow clap, that seems to hang like the Sword of Damocles before it hits, the track shows just how much DJ Spinn enjoys being unpredictable (as if his back-catalogue didn’t already).

This song follows on from the unveiling of ‘Dubby’ – also from the Off The Loud EP – a collaboration with rapper, Danny Brown, and long-term Chicago footwork cohort and friend, DJ Rashad, whose tragic, unexpected death shocked the music industry in April last year. Watch that video here.

Hyperdub will release Off The Loud on October 2nd.
