Dekmantel Festival 2017 announces line-up

For the fifth year in succession, Dekmantel Festival will be held in Amsterdam running from Wednesday 2nd August until Sunday 6th of August.

They have announced the line-up for this year which includes Ben UFO, Bicep, Helena Hauff, Job Jobse & Midland, Jon Hopkins, Nina Kraviz and the legends that are Masters at Work! Other American roots of house and techno at the festival will be supervised by a live show by Larry Heard, Joe Claussell, as well as a special Robert Hood set dedicated to his forthcoming Dekmantel LP. The Amsterdam festival has never before welcomed so many Dekmantel-debutants. Artists to play the festival for the first time include, amongst others, Beatrice Dillon, Vladimir Ivkovic, Marie Davidson, Dorian Concept, Shanti Celeste and Inga Mauer.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
