Subdue drops new music on Modular Carnage
Subdue has already been making waves in 2020 with his releases. The Liverpool based producer shows no signs of slowing down with a sound that ranges all the way from dreamy liquid rollers, to dark minimal steppers. Subdue has shown himself to be one of the most versatile newcomers on the Drum & Bass scene.
Subdue has had a string of releases so far this year. He’s already released on Skankandbass, Context Audio, The Dreamers Recordings and Riddim Records (which we premiered). He has spent a lot of time developing his own take on the deeper side of Drum & Bass. As a result he has been getting that moodiness in his tracks spot on.
Subdue has also become known for his deep yet energetic DJ sets, already supporting giants in the scene, such as Kings Of The Rollers, Annix and Turno.
Now, he drops a 2 tracker on Modular Carnage Recordings. Our premiere for today is ‘Clockwork’ which is a dark, moody liquid roller. Featuring a steppy groove and minimal, dark atmospherics, this is made for dark room at a rave!
With multiple releases already out and forthcoming music garnering support from the likes of Satl, Bredren, Redeyes and Monrroe to name a few. It’s easy to see why Subdue is one to watch not just for 2020 but many years to come in the future. We will definitely be keeping our eyes firmly on this rising star. Because of his hard work and dedication, the progression that Subdue is making is really exciting. We can’t wait to see what else he can bring!
Check out ‘Clockwork’ below. The release drops on all platforms on 28th August but you can grab it from Modular Carnage’s website now here!!
