Machinist Music celebrates 10 years with ‘MACHX 01’

Share

To celebrate ten years of filthy signals, Machinist Music returns with 5 tracks of masterfully executed dancefloor weaponry on ‘MACHX 01’ which drops today!

‘MACHX 01’ showcases a cross-section of the label’s signature sounds to mark the occasion of 10 years in the business. It provides us with a sneak peek into the future of Machinist Music.

Machinist Music alumnus, SDS returns with absolute darkness. ‘Darkwater’ delivers a ruinous merger between funky breaks and terror-soaked cinematics.

Hot on the heels of multiple appearances on ProgRam and Dispatch, man of the hour NC-17 joins the Machinist gang with ‘Event Horizon’. A dubbed-out polyrhythmic affair with rumbling subs and a twisted synth lead reminiscent of Konflict, ‘Event Horizon’ is guaranteed to shake the building.

Leeds-based Drum & Bass veteran, Nuphlo joins the Machinist camp with his remix of John Rolodex’s ‘Bonebender’. Refraining from his halftime mastery Nuphlo drops a jungle-tinged breakbeat tune with deep subs and optimized atmospherics… one for the heads.

New-comer Echowize makes his debut with an absolute blinder. ‘Reality Check’ combines contorted breaks, haunting vocals and deep, dubbed-out subs. A stunning first release for this New Zealand-based gentleman.

Also recently appearing on ProgRam, New Zealand’s Obeisant makes his first appearance on Machinist with a remix of John Rolodex‘s 2012 catalogue classic ‘Abduction Scene’. A hard-stomping techstep number paying homage to the hardstep of the late ’90s, delivered with a modern production aesthetic.

Today we premiere NC-17 ‘Event Horizon’. Check it out below and make sure you grab a copy of this pivotal release from here
