Virginia based producer Will Miles makes his Weapons of Choice Recordings debut with a diverse 3 track EP entitled ‘First Contact’.
Depth of Drum & Bass styles from jazzy orchestral deep grooves, to funkier dancefloor vibes, this unique EP from Will Miles really stands out. The title track and our premiere ‘First Contact ‘ is one of the deepest cuts in the history of Weapons Of Choice. It’s a lush liquid Drum & Bass track with a warm atmosphere and beautiful melodies.
Maintaining the melodic vibe but upping the intensity is the heavy roller ‘Neighborhood’. The closing track to the EP, ‘Tellin’ Ya’ complements the two openings tracks well with a mix of deep bass, clean drums and rolling vibes, along with ethereal melodies and a memorable hook.
Will Miles has created something a bit special with this release. It’s funky, soulful and oh so jazzy, which we love! With a stark reminder of early Roni Size and Reprazent days, we urge you to check this out as soon as physically possible. We promise, you won’t be disappointed!
