NC-17 drops 2 tracker on Random Concept Origins
After a winter break, Random Concept Origins are back with another hard-hitting release. This package comes in the form of two dark jungled infused rollers by none other than, NC-17.
Canadian based producer, NC-17 is a seasoned name in the world of Drum & Bass. Notching up releases with some of the industries biggest labels. NC-17 has arrived to make his imprint on the legendary Random Concept brand.
NC17 lands on Random Concept Origins with a massive bang! This doubleheader from the Canadian Drum & Bass legend will leave you craving the rave. These dark jungle-inspired tracks are a modern take on the iconic 90’s dark jungle era, the kind of music that you find yourself with your hands in the air, staring at your shoes, at 6am at the back of an underground nightclub. He has definitely delivered the goods on this one.
On the A-side we have ‘Phase Walk’ which features NC-17’s counterpart, Symbiant. Drawn out bass lines, accompanied by an iconic resampled rave horn. This track is the kind of bit that will have you staring at Fabric’s ceiling at 7am wanting one more track.
On the flip, following on from the epic opener, NC-17 brings us another dark, jungle-inspired composition ‘Taxi’. This one will take you back into the distant nineties with its instantly recognisable pads and soul breaking snare rolls. Try not to get lost in the darkness.
Featured by René LaVice on the BBC Radio 1 D&B Show and supported by Ray Keith, Grooverider, Kenny Ken, Levela, Nicky Blackmarket, Bryan Gee, Mrs Magoo and many more, these tracks are a must for your collection!
