T.Raumschmiere announces new LP on Kompakt

Berlin’s own Marco Haas aka T.Raumschmiere made an irreparable impression globally in the 00’s as a sawtoothed, ANTI-rave radical thanks to his immense stage antics and larger-than-life releases on Novamute.  Since then, Haas has established himself as a contemporary with emotive, dark ambient tales on his own imprints Shitkatapult/Albumlabel.

Kompakt’s love affair with Haas goes back to their earliest days, with some his first tracks were releases on the label. This May will see Kompakt and T.Ramuschmiere combining again on an epic solo album ‘Heimat’. A stunning techno album that neither excludes Ambient, nor gets reduced to constant ass kicking. It’s perhaps the best recording so far from this man who asks so deeply, so extensively, so much.

You can listen to the first track below:

A1. Zum Mond
A2. Jaguar
B1. Wacker
B2. Stoli
C1. Le Fux
C2. Juli
D1. Amina
D2. Zwerg

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
