Like all good stories, Actor One’s was written without much thought. Ison & Christos Mavridis started working together sometime ago motivated by their instincts. With influences that vary from Chicago House and Detroit Techno to UK tech house, their approach is simple and laidback as they prefer to produce on a slow pace process. However in just 2 years they managed to release singles on Get Physical’s sublabel Kindisch while they have contributed music on Heidi’s Jackathon compilation and to Noir Music. Their sound varies as they move to the territories of Future Garage, Deep & NY House as they prefer to call it with heavy beats and atmospheric 90’s rhythms. These may be well-known ingredients, but in their hands they sound fresh, powerful and magnetic.
