Mark Barrott Preps ‘Sketches From An Island 3’

We loved Mark Barrott’s efforts on ‘Sketches From An Island’. Proving the genre still has place within contemporary electronic music, the album is was definitively “music to listen to outside”, preferably on a nice day, and preferably somewhere like Ibiza.  The “Sketches From An Island” title was no accident.  It aptly represented the sound of the International Feel label boss working away in ambient solitude, in his villa out in the sticks near Santa Gertrudis in the rural north of Ibiza.

Thus it is with great pleasure – and considerable excitement – that we break news that Mark will be releasing the third instalment of his ‘Sketches’ series on July 20th, with a new four track EP arriving slap bang in the middle of of his residency at DJ Harvey’s Ibiza party Mercury Rising. Bring on the Balearic beats!
