The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.
Although we feel he’s doing far too much taking away in regards to London’s clubbing landscape at the moment with Brixton based venue Plan B following London Bridge clubs Crucifix Lane and Cable in going the way of the dodo after it unexpectedly shutting its doors for good last week.
It’s not all doom and gloom however, as whilst the space will no longer operate under the name Plan B we can confirm that it will remain a nightclub after being acquired by the Colombo Group, the London-based ‘bar and restaurant collective,’ best known for being the team behind popular nightspots XOYO and The Nest.
Set to reopen in September under a different name, with a different layout and we’d imagine a different programming vision, we look forward to seeing the space return to us this Autumn. Until then, lets raise a glass to Plan B, location of many a great night had by us here at DT!
