The latest artist to announce he will also be adding to this summers glut of high quality albums is Cocoon, Drumcode and Ovum veteran Gregor Thresher as the talented German readies his 6th full length studio effort via his own imprint Break New Soil.  Following on from the excellent ‘Lights From The Inside’ which saw Gregor traverse new ground sonically in 2011, the new album ‘Nightcolours’  is set to drop on July the 5th.

After a strong start to 2013 that saw Gregor release a series of well received EPs on Drumcode, Intacto and Music Man Recordings which have seen the producer continue to explore his own brand of electro infused house and techno.  The DJ has also confirmed  he’ll be embarking on an extensive world tour to promote the new album which will see him play shows at some of the globes most illustrious events and venues from  Sónar and Exit Festival to Sankeys Ibiza and London’s fabric.

It seems like it’s going to be a busy summer for Gregor Thresher and we’re keen to hear exactly what the German has come up for his new 14 track release. Exciting times but until then check out his ace remix for Moby & Mark Lanegan!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
