Ghostly Prep Recondite & KILN Albums

Is there a label busier than Ghostly right now? If there is we’re not aware of them at DT as the imprint preps no less than two full length records set to drop next week. The first comes from Data Transmission favorite Recondite with the Berlin based producer dropping his new album alongside that of his glitchy experimental labelmates KILN.

Despite KILN’s album available to stream below ahead of their official releases, it has been the increasingly influential Recondite’s album ‘Hinterland’ that has truly grabbed our attention with his frostbitten eleven techno cuts making the most memorable of debuts on the imprint. This is not to dismiss the dub infused efforts of electronica explorers KILN whose offering ‘meadow:watt’ is equally deserving of praise in their first return to Ghostly since the release of their ‘Dusker LP’ on the label back in 2007.

Both dropping on November 11th you check out meadow:watt in its entirety below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
