Those of you who ventured to the White Isle this summer may well have fond memories of BLOOP Festival, the avant-garde creative project that marries art with Ibiza’s rich musical heritage we teamed up with throughout the summer.

Artists from around the globe used Ibiza’s stunning natural landscape as their canvas, to texture and colour the island with expositions, art installations, music and many more special events. Celebrating its 3rd year, BLOOP Festival remains the first of its kind, being entirely dedicated to proactive art, creating an environment where artists, artworks and spectators are all participants in the piece.

Whilst small and independent, the festival happens in a variety of different ways, all across the island. It is completely FREE and open to everyone and incorporates BLOOP marked interactive installations, parties, video mappings, open air photography expositions and much more and so shares much of the ethos we hold dear at DT.

Now courtesy of Biokip Records BLOOP have now shared their new compilation album with us to stream in full.  Naturally inspired by festival in Ibiza, BLOOP musical curator Digital Genetic Pasta delivers some eclectic tunes. With contributing artists such as DGP, Tranz Lasagne, Pineapple Crocodile, Freakatronic, and Musumeci to name but a few all on the release it is certainly well worth checking out.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
