Share

Delta Waves have announced their first full artist album due for release date November 10th on Mavic Music.

Mathew Bennett aka Break in Transmission and Shaun Day aka Fonic have been immersed in their local techno scene in Adelaide, South Australia since the late ’80s.

Influenced by techno veteran mainstay artists like Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke they independently have been crafting music loyal to analogue since the 90’s attracting local radio play and some live performances around Adelaide before meeting 5 years ago to form Delta Waves.

Combing their 100% analogue studios they have their debut release set for Mavic Music on November 10, 2020. Mavic Music is a record label creation from Barbuto to blend infectious tracks of bold and satisfying low end and minimal funk and simultaneous darkness in the synths for maximum dance floor appeal. Each track has been carefully crafted exploring melodic pathways and modulated grooves from raw hypnotic to left field experimental.

The duo has successfully captured 10 timeless tracks that will peak the interest of refined ears of classic techno taste as well as offering something for the contemporary modernist.

We premiere ‘Zenith’ of the album on our NUDE Techno Channel, check it out here and download the album here.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
