Debut Transmission: NTFO - Represent

We don’t know what they are putting in the water in Romania at the moment but we’d like to know where we could get some, as the central European state seems to be exporting more and more high quality music from across the electronic spectrum.

At the forefront of the Balkan invasion has been DJ and production duo NTFO, who if you didn’t know by now (unlikely) we’re big fans of here at Data Transmission. Thus it was with considerable excitement that we received news that the Jimbolia based pairing had hooked up with 20/20 Vision to launch the labels new 20/20 Editions series with the ‘Represent’ EP.

Set to arrive February 1st, it took but a solitary listen for us to agree to host the inbound records title track (we wanted to bite their hand off but tried to play it cool…) with its robust rhythms, dilating synth lines and pumping bass quickly embedding itself into our already music soaked brains. Accompanied by three other expertly crafted cuts – we’d bet our bottom dollar that this entire EP will pick up plenty of play this spring – you can check out ‘Represent’ in full below.
