Debut Transmission: Jody Barr – Sheilas Demands

When Lenny Henry said “Everything’s premier but the price” on those god awful hotel adverts he may well have been more accurately referring to Data Transmission, which as ever, continues to bring you the freshest premieres free of charge.

Having previously unveiled Prins Thomas‘ ‘Discomiks’ of their last single, Obscure Visions, we’ve turned to our old muckers Krankbrother to keep us warm this  January as they ready the seventh release for their eponymous label.  Having introduced fast rising Welshman Jody Barr to their close knit, house loving family last year, the hardware loving producerreturns to their label with two new cuts of straight up, analogue techno, whilst A Sagittariun hops on board with a cosmically charged remix.

Unwrapping our favourite number of the release, you can check out ‘Sheila’s Demands’ in all its brooding, mechanical glory below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
