Alex AQ releases his new video for ‘Nderakore’

Cuban-born and now a resident of Paraguay, Alex AQ, has been making waves in the Latin American dance music scene since the ’90s. Schooled in hip-hop and breakbeat, he began his venture into music in La Havana playing at different block parties and clubs there.

Having moved to Paraguay where he co-created clubs such as FDM and the renowned Sequence, Alex helped to spread the House and Techno gospel booking artists such as Marcel Dettmann, Ryan Elliott, Sterac, Fjaak and the likes in a country who was opening its eyes and ears to dance music. There he honed his craft on handling the dancefloor playing an eclectic mixture of electronic music, as well as developing his studio skills which resulted in releases for labels such as LPZ Records, Valvula Records, Sprout, Evasive Records, Silence In Metropolis, ExpMental Records and the newly formed SQNC Records.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
