Hystatus & Glÿph link up on ‘Reflected Void’

Nights are drawing in a little, and the temperatures are beginning to dip, just as normality creeps in and the world gets back on its feet and dusts itself off after, well, whatever the hell THAT was. What better time to drop a pair of propulsive frosty rippers that, while being every bit as crisp as a northern breeze at the tail end of a balmy week, have a certain something of the night about them too? Enter Hystatus, and enter Glÿph, propelled into your earholes with ‘Reflected Void’ by virtue of the team over at inHabit Recordings HQ who are the lucky ones to have a new MOMENTUM release to flog.

You most likely know of Hystatus and Glÿph by now; Hystatus are the Anglo-Belgian collaboration who’ve been making knees knock from Bristol to Brussels and beyond for some years now, with a slew of detailed, angular, precision-tooled productions sharp enough to catch the eyes of many a tastemaker in the murky world of deep Drum & Bass.

Glÿph are the dynamic Belgian duo who have had standout cuts on labels as diverse as ProgRAM, Symmetry and Absys, who have a style that is completely their own and yet never settles into a rut. Chuck all those elements in a barrel and give it a few good skelps with a hurl and this my friends, is the release that ensues. Play it as loud as is legal, in the company of friends, and friends you haven’t made yet

This isn’t the first time the four have come together having previously collaborated on the ‘Azimuth’ EP on Delta9 Recordings at the very start of this year.
