Liquid Series set to drop ‘Endless Summer’ VA
Share
For those who don’t know, Liquid Series is a project aiming to reach Liquid Drum & Bass listeners’ ears. The people involved in this project and label worked to build a platform through which local artists from Romania can promote their own mixes and productions. The label’s activity started a year ago but the project itself turns 3 years old in October this year. After 2 EP’s and a single released this year on the label, there is a new compilation following the catalogue entitled ‘Endless Summer’ and it’s set to be released on Monday 18th October which marks the celebration of the achievements gained during these three years.
This release marks a new step in the evolution of the project. In April this year, the label started its collaboration with one of the most important electronic music record distribution companies – Triple Vision – and it’s completed by signing two names from the UK, Bazil MC and SOLR. Liquid Series continues to preserve its local identity meanwhile it’s showing its opening for artists abroad.
SOLR’s productions have a specific signature sound and ethereal atmospheres, consolidated by the smooth progression with beautiful vocals on the track entitled ‘Missing You’.
‘Street Lights’ is a collaboration between Sub:liminal and Bazil MC on the vocals maintaining and ensuring an organic balance on the composition with a smooth vibe. Besides the artists mentioned above, inside the EP you will find tracks from Detour, Scatterbrain, SoulDR!P and Tudor G.
The purpose of this VA is to outline a context where we approach the beautiful memories associated with the summer period which have become more and more distant due to the difficult context we find ourselves in right now.
Today we premiere Sub:liminal and Bazil MC ‘Street Lights’, which you can check out below. The ‘Endless Summer’ EP drops on Monday 18th October, you can grab yourself a copy from the purchase button beneath the Soundcloud player!
