HEFT debuts on Bowlcut Beats with ‘Darkestra’ EP

Bowlcut Beats are back with their first release of 2022 and are kicking off the year with a 4 track debut EP called ‘Darkestra’ from newcomer HEFT.

HEFT is a Drum & Bass DJ and Producer who hails from Moscow, Russia. He has brought together a variety of sounds and styles within the genre that perfectly compliment each other for this wicked EP.

Opening up the EP is the title track ‘Darkestra’ which has moody undertones along with a rolling vibe that runs throughout the entire tune. The hook is nothing short of catchy, to say the least. Next up ‘If You Know’ perfectly combines some techy percussion, a beautiful vocal chop and a soothing bassline to create a certified banger. Following on and closing the release is ‘Magnificat’ and ‘Motion’ which are both bass-heavy that have a few liquid undertones.
