Ross Harper releases his ‘Zeitgeber’

Share

‘Zeitgeber’, this is where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. A deep jacking core adorned with drones, organs and spiralling grooves, the result is a magnificent bejewelled stomper that just cries out for more and more.

‘Zeitgeber’ is taken from Ross Harper’s forthcoming ‘The Dark Album’, released in late October 2022 and a snapshot of Ross Harper’s subconscious. The album’s tracks were written between 2008 and 2018, a ten year period which marks a culmination of time in Ross Harper’s life of almost complete introspection.

Ross Harper said: “After almost 20 years of deep contemplation, I emerged in November 2018 after experiencing what I would call my Third Awakening. I am now in a very different chapter of my life. The tracks in ‘The Dark Album’ were all written during this almost catatonic state and hence are almost like a mirror to the inner darkness.”

We premiere ‘Zeitgeber’ on NUDE Techno today, check it out here and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
