Weather Festival 2013
Paris is beautiful, yes it is… but it would be better with a big festival! Done! Weather Festival is the first international techno and house festival ever organized in Paris and its suburbs. Nearly 30,000 people are expected between Paris and Montreuil on the week-end of May 17 – 19 2013. It is the result of a co-production between Mecanick’s and Suprize, whose Concrete, Twisted and Weather parties are now unavoidable events among the busiest in electronic music in Paris and its region.
With a prestigious and specialized program mixing house and techno, the festival will host a selection of major artists, both French (Paul Ritch, Djulz, Cabanne…) and international (Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Len Faki, Nina Kraviz…); both cult (Robert Hood…) and promising talents (Polar Inertia, François X, Zadig, Tijo Aimé, Lowris…) but also many European musicians and DJs, and from Detroit or South Africa: therefore the audience will be eclectic, expert or novice, French and also international… Weather is a European festival and takes advantage of the central location of Paris, accessible and desirable on the continent: less than 2 hours from all major European cities by plane or train, the “most beautiful city in the world” will finally shine on the clubbing map!
