After a hard earned summer break, Warehouse LDN returns to the capital’s electronic music scene with an impressive August party schedule. The North London venue, which boasts one of London’s finest Funktion One sound systems, kicks off with a two part celebration spread across the August bank holiday weekend. They start with a showcase from Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records on Saturday 24th August (which for the first time in London will feature label boss Chandler at the helm). Alongside, is Leeds deep house duo and MadTech rising stars Voyeur as support and boutique party Bad Apple look after things in room 2. The festivities will culminate with an exclusive performance from New York house duo The Martinez Brothers on Sunday 25th August. Their distinct brand of dance floor focussed deep house & tech, coupled with their seemingly limitless energy has sent the brothers ‘pull’ factor into overdrive. The aforementioned bookings display the venue’s clear intent to bring world class artists to this hidden gem in Edmonton’s industrial landscape.
Warehouse LDN continue their August offensive the following weekend with a highly anticipated Garage Nation rave featuring the usual suspects; Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Scott Garcia, Mike ‘Ruff Cut’ Lloyd and Jason Kaye amongst others. With London’s Garage scene back ‘in vogue’ and Garage Nation affairs attracting a new young and trendy audience, Friday 30th August is set to be a raucous date. On the following eve’, Warehouse LDN & ROTO present Miami born and bred, Barcelona based, Detroit influenced, house music sensation Danny Daze. Support comes from London deep house man East End Dubs plus FabricLive & Rinse FM ressident Daniel Avery.
