370 – Wolfpack

Well Data Transmission is slightly different to most other 6 year old although we will be having a party to celebrate reaching the milestone and guess what? You’re invited. Where you say? Well how about seminal London nightspot Ministry Of Sound complete with performances from Data Transmission favorites Wolfpack, Electronic Youth, Cedric Gervais, and Tim Mason? Sounds good doesn’t it?

And now to further get you in the party spirit our next podcast comes from the Wolfpack boys. For those of you somehow not familiar with the fast rising Belgian duo they are the pairing that have been generating massive global hype with mainstage sets at the likes of Tomorrowland, tours of India, South America, and Europe, and scoring huge hits such as ‘Miracle’ and the 2013 Beatport #1 smash ‘Turn It Up’ – co-produced with mentors Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and GTA. So with such a hectic couple of years behind them and a breakout year in 2013 that opened the duo up to a huge global audience 2014 is already shaping up to be their biggest year yet and that in itself is quite some achievement.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
