Following on from a summer spent touring the best of Europe’s clubs and festivals with Ibiza as Ellen’s home base, enjoying the island’s hot parties and good vibes, Berlin will have her back in October 2012. This autumn sees Ellen playing at Time Warp Italy and at the DC10 closing party to crown her summer residency at the mind-blowing ibizan club. As from the end of September her new ellen allien fashion collection ‘STORM’ will be launched, and available to buy. There are also upcoming BPitch Control showcases in Madrid, Paris, Rome, Berlin and Bergamo and if that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, Ellen will start working on her new album titled Colours, sheduled for release next year. In the meantime don’t forget to check out the recent videos for ‘Need’ and ‘Take Me Out’ from Ellen’s single ‘Galactic Horse’.

Sum up this podcast in 10 words… It‘s a journey, a dj live mix I made on an Open Air Festival in Jena (Germany), the location was awesome, next to a little lake. I played during the daytime and the air was filled with happy vibes. What’s your personal favourite track on it? I cannot really say that. I do really love all of them and the combination I managed to make when I played them, it‘s just the result of an amazing crowd and moments. What’s the special ingredient in this mix? I am mixing techno with housie tunes and interweave floating melodies. What’s the best gig you’ve played recently? Uhhh, it‘s hard to say. During the summer many shows and gigs very special. For example the gigs at DC10 where I had a residency during the summer season were all great, the new sound system just kicks and you can hear the sound is perfectly sharp. After years, last weekend I finally played again in Poland, in Poznan: I experienced some very emotional moments. Also the BPitch showcase in Rome held last Saturday was insane, lots of funny dancers full on energy… What have you got coming up? I am working on a new BPitch Control compilation, which will be titled “Where the Wind Blows”. Today I will pack my luggage since tomorrow I will fly back to Berlin after five months with Ibiza as my home base. Tonight I will have my last show of the season at DC10 and tomorrow Dillon – a BPitch Control artist – will be playing at the Berliner Volksbühne. What‘s more? I will slowly start working on my next album… And finally, do you have a special message for our readers? Dream!
