Disco Heat: A Christmas Fundraiser In Support Of Crisis

Share

With Jack Frost making his annual trip over to the UK, temperatures are bound to reach sub-zero, an environment that nobody should have to endure. The expanding homelessness crisis, more apparent than ever on the streets of London, is an indication that we all need to come together to do our bit.

Whilst most of the nation hurries around in a gluttonous frenzy, there are organisations such as Crisis who do amazing work to provide shelter, care and advice as well as simple human interaction at Christmas time when those on the streets are often overlooked and left out in the cold.

Disco Heat brings together a first-class lineup to The Prince of Wales (The POW) in Brixton including Bill Brewster, Faze Action, Logan Fisher & 7″s of bliss, Jay Carder, Size Doesn’t Matter, Linden C (Mi-Soul) and Gerrardo and you have every part of the disco spectrum covered in style.

This is a great cause at a great location with a great soundtrack, so get involved. Tickets are £5 at www.residentadvisor.net

100% OF THE PROFITS FROM THIS EVENT WILL GO TO CRISIS

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
