Pioneer DJ launches the XDJ-RX

Pioneer DJ have launched the XDJ-RX!

The new unit is the perfect marriage of the CDJ platter, a high-performance mixer, and a central, full-color screen featuring dual waveform display. The XDJ-RX inherits much of its DNA from Pioneer DJ’s top-flight NXS line-up, adds pad control with the all-new Loop Slice, and loads rekordbox™ tracks directly from USB key or iOS/Android device (wired) – making it an all-in-one dream for digital DJs.

The two CDJ-style platters have a familiar, club-standard layout and give DJs instant access to pro-DJ performance features including Beat Sync, Slip Mode and Quantized cues and loops. Pads add a physical element, with instant access to Hot Cues and Auto Beat Loops – or DJs can choose and slice loops on the fly with the new Loop Slice function.

The unit’s mixer boasts four high-quality Sound Color FX and eight Beat FX, including the DJM-900NXS’s hugely popular Spiral. Plus with two MIC inputs, a LAN port, and an array of quality IN/OUT connections, the XDJ-RX can be used as a stand-alone two-channel mixer.

Plus DJs can also record their performances direct to a USB device to review later.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
