Spotlight Mix : MaxQuerade

Maximilian Carton aka MaxQuerade is a continuing contributor to the Oxford scene as well as having DJ’d further afield at the likes of Space Ibiza, Brixton O2 Academy and Transitions Festival, France. His style oscillates between funky grooves and warm techno, hundreds of hours behind the booth not to mention opening for respected selectors like Craig Richards and Daniel Avery.

Now back in Oxford and focusing on production, Carton has become the newest core member of the Simple contingent, an esteemed and longstanding local night under which he has so far warmed up for Denis Sulta & Subb-An, with some exciting sets in the pipeline.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
