William Arist release ‘Smoke of Dead’ on Liberta Records

Hailing from Montevideo, William Arist is one of South America’s techno rising stars. William’s unique techno style has made a home on labels such as Animal Farm and Dead Cert, and recently his own imprint, Perseverancia Records owner.

From the dangerous part of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay in late 90s William started his journey in music at the early age of 11 helping programming the music and Djing in a radio show of a pirate radio station, since that moment he never stopped to define his own style and taste of music and improve his technical skills.

In 2017 things changed when he took the final decision to focus exclusively on his new project called William Arist, helped by the opening of his own promotion platform (label) Perseverancia Records.

William’s debut release on Liberta Records is a showcase of deep and tough grooves, including two remixes for Vinicius Honorio. ‘Smoke of Dead’ is surely a release that will echo in the scene for a while.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
