Will.i.am has been courting controversy with the release of his fourth studio album, #willpower, after the LP which cites strong electro pop influences and features singles produced by EDM superstars Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso has been accused of plagiarism.

After revealing via Vevo his fifth effort from #willpower ‘Lets Go’ featuring Chris Brown it instantly caused a twitter storm with accusations that the former Black Eyed Pea had ripped off Arty and Mat Zo’s Anjunabeats release ‘Rebound‘ and that it wasn’t a case of sampling but just a clear use of the whole track without any prior authorization.

However the aggrieved parties are refusing to take the alleged infringement lying down and have responded to the tracks unveiling online whilst considering their legal options with Arty tweeting that Will.I.Am certainly never cleared the rights to the track and Anjunabeats label boss Jono Grant tweeting  “Poor form by Will I am nicking @mat_zo and @arty_music ‘s track “Rebound” without asking the artist or label @anjunabeats ! #dotherightthing

If they do decide to take the legal route it won’t be the first time this release  has landed Will in court as X Factor judge and  singer-songwriter Tulisa is also suing Will for song royalties to pop hit “Scream & Shout.”
