Waitz lands on Deeperfect with ‘Don’t Tell Me’

Eight artists are part of the EP and on this occasion, we highlight the premiere of Waitz with this new tune, ‘Don’t Tell Me’.

Waitz (Matteo Cingolani) comes from a world far removed from his hooky yet heady tech-house grooves that he is fast becoming known for. In 2009 Matteo began his first forays into the dance music landscape, attending numerous parties. Matteo was instantly lured by the rhythmic sounds of breakbeat, hip-hop and funk convincing him to learn how to DJ.

After a number of years, DJ’ing Matteo’s desire to create his own sounds for his sets led to him taking up production in 2013. He set upon the task of honing his production skills with a true dedication which resulted in his debut E.P. release titled ‘Freak This’ in January 2016 on Safe Music. If that wasn’t enough ‘Teachin’ from the ‘Freak This’ E.P. reached the Top 10 of the Traxsource Tech House Chart.

Since then Matteo has gone onto release on Basica Recordings, Defined Music, Madtech all in the space of nine months, whilst recently appearing on one of dance music’s most renowned annual compilations ‘Defected in the House’ with his Traxsource #4 hit ‘THPS’.
