High Soundsystem announces his ‘Morning Routine’ EP

Rising talents keep on coming this summer thanks to Deeperfect and the latest work from High Soundsystem, ‘Morning Routine’ EP. 

Morning rituals can be pretty special. So you’ve basically got two ways to live your ‘Morning Routine’. Whether it’s because you didn’t sleep and just kept on partying or maybe because you decided to get up early and appreciate the sunrise, the new melodies from the Rotterdam talent, will ignite good feelings and consistent, proper beats to your day/or night.

The EP consists of two tracks, the first one goes by the main name, and it already counts with the support of artists such as Marco Carola and Michael Bibi. Make sure to add it to your repertoire because this one’s catching the summer vibe like no other. The second track, Kiss and Ride, brings a deeper touch to the EP, focusing on smooth sounds and colourful melodies that honour its name. 

High Soundsystem’s real name is Rutger Heij, he grew up in Dordrecht in his family home with his mom, dad, kid brother & sister and was always surrounded by world music. Influenced by Hip-Hop, Latin, Trance & Rock music Rutger began his musical journey by producing music on the “Playstation” with a game called “Music 2000” the music he made sounded like African music, with bongo’s & conga’s he created rhythm. 

Rutger started practising the art of DJing at a very young age thanks to his cousin Dennis who helped him take his first steps. It didn’t take long before he started playing in clubs among good friends JMP, Renco & Slick. Nowadays, Rutger is part of the Give Soul & Kosmos collective in Rotterdam and has his own event collective “Obvious Collective” with releases on Blanc. / Emilarge Records / OVRdose Deep / Tamango / Whoyostro & many more. His sets are energetic and very house influenced. 

As part of the Deeperfect fam, High Soundsystem is an artist to watch out for. A pure musical soul that represents the values of what we believe in. He definitely knows how to ‘get deep, aim perfectly’.
