Uone & Schlepp Geist remix Moontides ‘Salute To Manu’

‘Salute To Manu’ is MOONTIDE’s ode to the inspiring work of African chief Eric Manu – it also features a remix from Uone & Schlepp Geist which we premiere today.

With its deep percussive groove and its intertwined melodies it’s another acutely constructed story designed for the dance floor.

On Uone’s recent European tour he managed to squeeze in a visit to Schlepp Geist’s studio in Leipzig. Having previously worked together the pair deliver a remix that takes the original into an open-air tribal gathering dance floor monster. Concentrating on the organic instruments from the original whilst splashing with carefully edit vocal snippets, dubby bass &hypnotic acid line through the breakdown.
