What started off at Turnmills in 1995 for a one-off gathering of just fifty people has grown to what has become the biggest longest running weekly Friday night on the planet.  We are of course talking about The Gallery, which celebrates its twentieth birthday (we first went to The Gallery for the 6th Birthday!) with a flagship anniversary party at Ministry of Sound, This Friday 10th April.

To celebrate this head booker and resident DJ Gavyn Mytchel has picked his Top 5 DJs from The Gallery over the 20 years in this funny and very informative video.

As many of you know, many moons ago on a dark night in London Data Transmission was born in Turnmills and as such we owe lot of what we are today to The Gallery.  Thus it with a great deal of pride and excitement that we watch the iconic night reach to such a milestone.  So from all of us at Data Transmission and all the team over the years (Danny, Gav, Ed, Nish, Jeff, Stixy, Bluetac Nik, Mr Godwin, Tom the doorman, Tall Paul)  we’d like to wish you a very Happy 20th Birthday and many more to come!
