Saturday 19th November will see the return of the excellent Take Note to London.

Last year’s event introduced a new type of conference into the electronic music world, one aimed at people attempting to break into it rather than for those within. Over forty speakers from diverse roles in major record labels such as Universal and Sony, management companies, mainstream media, lawyers, agents, esteemed prs, artists and many more all came together to discuss aspects of the industry that were previously kept under wraps.

Take Note will once again be back in design space Second Home in the heart of Shoreditch. The first few speakers announced include esteemed artists B Traits, Danny Daze and Toddla T as well as heavyweight names from all corners of the industry such as Maria May, the leading agent at CAA whose roster includes Luciano, the A&R at Ninja Tune, Vidhi Ghandi and Sofia Llyas, founder of Float PR whose clients include Nils Frahm.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
