Fans of the site may remember that back in the summer we exclusively premiered Scandinavian duo Franskild’s ‘Will It Ever Feel Alright’ and tipped the pairing for big things as the year went on.

Since then they’ve been championed by the likes of Maya Jane Coles and a host of fellow taste making electronic music outlets as an act to watch in the coming 2014. Blending that classic Chicago house sound with elements of 90’s Parisian electronica and contemporary garage is no mean feat and sure to be one that sees the pairing win an increasingly large fan base as their back catalogue continues to grow.

Following on from Maya Jane Coles getting behind their previous single Eden (and then later personally requesting a Franskild remix one of her own tracks) comes their latest release ‘Clockwork’ on Sweat It Out Records and is sure to turn heads upon release later this month.

Harboring the moodiness of the XX which oxymoronically runs alongside a naturally upbeat nature now seems the time to jump onboard and experience the warmth that atmosphere that abound about Copenhagen at this time of year.

Check out ‘Clockwork’ below:

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
