Running Back has announced label staple Redshape will provide its 50th release.

The Leaves EP offers “monolithic techno” from the enigmatic producer. Over four different versions of the title track, we’re promised “the sort of warehouse rave signal that exceeds the sole purpose of a tool.” Run by Gerd Janson, Running Back has technically already surpassed 50 releases, however the label has often altered the catalog numbers for special releases, leaving Redshape to claim the RB050 stamp.

Running Back will drop the Leaves EP on October 20th.

Tracklist

A1 Leaves (Original)
A2 Leaves (Stripped 2 Clip)
B1 Leaves (Rotated Mix)
B2 Leaves (Stripped 2 Clip & 303)

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
