After the successful release last year of Robert Hood’s excellent Motor: Nighttime World 3 album the Detroit legend has decided to release one of the LP’s stand out tracks ‘Black Technician’ as a single this May via Music Man, complete with a set of fresh remixes from founding Underground Resistance member Mad Mike Banks.

The A side will purely contain Hood’s original but it is the B side that creates the most intrigue as Banks has roped in several other Techno innovators from his native city of Detroit with Skurge and Ray 7 collaborating with him on the UR Mad Mike Remix and teaming up with Waajeed for the DirtTech UR Mix

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
